Ongoing DPF maintenance program

Keep Your Fleet Moving.Stop DPF Clogging Before It Stops Your Trucks.

Scheduled mobile hydrogen carbon cleaning prevents DPF clogging, reduces emergency regens, and keeps Class 6–8 trucks, gen-sets, and industrial diesel equipment out of the shop.

The Problem

DPF Clogging Is the Downtime Your Fleet Can't Afford.

DPF Clogging & Downtime

A plugged DPF means a truck in the bay, missed loads, and expensive emergency repairs that throw your whole fleet schedule off.

Forced Regens Burn Profit

Constant regen cycles waste fuel, burn driver hours, and shorten DPF service life — all while the truck is not making money.

Invisible Until It Derates

Carbon buildup in the combustion chamber, EGR, and DPF grows silently until it triggers a derate code and shuts the truck down.

The Science

Prevent DPF Clogging at the Source.

DPF clogging doesn't start in the filter — it starts in the combustion chamber. Incomplete combustion creates soot that loads the turbo, EGR, intake manifold, and ultimately the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). As backpressure rises, the engine forces more regens, loses fuel economy, and can derate or shut down.

Hydrogen cleaning interrupts that cycle. Introduced into the air intake at idle, hydrogen burns at high flame speed and helps break down carbon deposits throughout the intake, combustion, and exhaust path — including the DPF face. Carbon converts to gas and exits through the exhaust. No teardown. No filter removal. No multi-day shop visit.

Used on a recurring schedule, hydrogen treatment helps keep soot loading low and DPF service intervals predictable — turning emergency DPF repairs into planned maintenance.

How It Works

The 45-Minute Treatment That Protects Your DPF.

01

Electrolysis

Our equipment electrolyzes distilled water into oxyhydrogen (HHO) gas — hydrogen and oxygen in their natural 2:1 ratio.

02

HHO Intake

HHO gas flows into the engine's air intake while the engine idles. No disassembly required.

03

Carbon Breakdown

Hydrogen raises combustion temperature, weakening carbon bonds. Water acts as a mild solvent.

04

Clean Exhaust Out

Carbon converts to gas and exits through the exhaust. Engine is restored. No chemicals, no waste.

Our System

Mobile DPF Maintenance, Delivered to Your Yard.

Protium Clean mobile service van with hydrogen carbon cleaning system

Our mobile electrolyzer arrives on a service van and rolls right up to the engine. Stainless tanks, braided HHO lines, and live pressure monitoring — built to keep your fleet on-site and out of the DPF shop.

What Gets Cleaned

Six Critical Components. One DPF-Focused Service.

Combustion Chamber

Carbon deposits reduce compression efficiency and produce more soot that loads the DPF.

Turbocharger Vanes

Sticky variable-geometry vanes cause boost issues, derates, and premature turbo failure.

EGR Valve

Clogged EGR valves trigger fault codes, regen problems, and increased soot output.

Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)

Restricted DPFs raise backpressure, force regens, and can put the truck in derate or shutdown.

Intake Manifold

Carbon coating restricts airflow, starves combustion, and contributes to soot loading.

Injector Tips

Coked injectors disrupt spray pattern, reduce efficiency, and accelerate cylinder wear.

How We Go Further

A Maintenance Program, Not a One-Time Clean.

01

Engine-specific dosing

Our modular hydrogen cell system is calibrated per engine displacement — from Class 8 trucks up through drilling rig gen-sets — so every engine gets a dose grounded in published hydrogen-combustion research, not guesswork.

02

Built for the oilfield

Purpose-designed for fleets that idle constantly — drilling, workover, and support trucks across the Gulf Coast and Permian Basin — with the ability to treat multiple vehicles at once at a single yard.

03

Rigorous validation

Every treatment is documented with J1939 diagnostic tools, capturing before/after readings so fleet managers see the change, not just hear about it.

Hotshot & Delivery Fleets

2500–3500 Trucks Need DPF Maintenance Too.

Most small fleets think DPF trouble is a big-rig problem — until their Ram 3500, Ford F-350, or Chevy 3500HD starts forcing regens, throws a derate, or ends up at the dealer for a week. Our mobile hydrogen treatment is sized for medium-duty diesels, so your 2500/3500 trucks stay on the road without the dealership wait.

DPF Clogs Under Load

Hotshot and delivery 2500/3500 trucks stop and start all day, tow heavy, and run tight schedules — exactly the conditions that load a DPF fastest.

One Down Truck Kills the Route

A single derated or parked unit means missed deliveries, unhappy customers, and a driver sitting idle while the truck waits for a shop bay.

Expensive Dealer Visits

Modern diesel pickups need the same DPF, EGR, and turbo care as Class 8 trucks. Dealer regens and cleanouts add up fast when done one truck at a time.
